5 SE Texas school districts rated Exemplary
Comments 0AUSTIN - 5 Southeast Texas school districts are rated Exemplary, 20 Recognized, 8 Academically Acceptable and one charter academy is rated Academically Unacceptable, according to information released Friday afternoon by the Texas Education Agency.

The ratings are based on TAKS results as well as completion and dropout rates.
Colmesneil ISD, Evadale ISD, Hamshire Fannett ISD, Sabine Pass ISD and Warren ISD are rated Exemplary.
Beaumont ISD is among 20 districts rated Recognized.
Port Arthur ISD is among eight districts rated Academically Acceptable.
The Richard Milburn Academy Charter School in Beaumont is rated Academically Unacceptable.
