Manhunt underway in Jefferson County
Comments 0 | Recommend 0A Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper was involved in a short pursuit that turned into a manhunt.
Around 12:05 Sunday morning the Trooper pulled over the driver of a car on Higway 124 just east of Labelle road in Jefferson County. When the car stopped both the driver and the passenger took off running.
The Trooper was able to catch the driver, but the passenger got away. Search dogs were brought in to help locate the passenger, but as of 12:45 Sunday morning he was still on the run.
