Southeast Texans can pay tribute to veterans by visiting the traveling memorial wall this week in Kountze.

The Patriot Guard Riders escorted the wall to the Lions Den at Kountze Middle School on Monday morning. People lined the route to watch the arrival.

Viewing times are as follows:

Monday: 5-8 p.m.

Tuesday thru Friday: 8-8 p.m.

Wednesday: Open until midnight

Saturday: 8-2 p.m.

Opening ceremonies are at 5:30 p.m. Monday. A candlelight vigil will take place at November 10 at 6 p.m. A veterans program is scheduled for November 11 at 9 a.m. and community service November 11 at 6:30 p.m.
