Construction work on water lines in Bevil Oaks will affect water service beginning this Friday.

The manager of the Bevil Oaks Municipal Utility District says the system will be shut down at 9 a.m. Friday to allow for the construction work.

A boil water notice will go into effect until the work is done and the water is tested.
