An 18 wheeler driver traveling through Orange County Monday afternoon was shaken up after barely missing another car and crashing his own truck.

Vidor police tell KFDM the 18 wheeler driver was traveling westbound on I-10 in Vidor when a car entered the interstate from the Highway 12 on ramp right in front of the 18 wheeler.

The driver slammed on his brakes to avoid hitting the car and lost control of the truck, sliding off of the interstate on the grass hill between the interstate and the feeder road.

While the driver was uninjured, his truck was severely twisted and mangled.
