LCM Student dies in early morning wreck
Comments 0 | Recommend 0The Mauriceville community is mourning the loss of an LCM student who died in a wreck early Sunday morning.
Louisiana State Troopers tell KFDM 18 year old James English was the passenger inside a vehicle driven by Kelbi Simpson. Troopers say Simpson told them she swerved to avoid hitting an animal, lost control of the car, and struck a tree.
The wreck happened on Highway 12 just west of Stark.
English died from his injuries. Simpson and another passenger suffered minor injuries in the accident.
Dorman funeral home is handling English's funeral arrangements. In the obituary section it states English was a senior at LCM, he was a member of the National Honor Society, A member of First Orange Baptist Church, and worked at a local Market Basket.
English's funeral is set for Wedneday, November 25th at 2:00p.m. in the Chapel of Dorman Funeral Home in Orange.
