Teacher accused of improper relationship with student

McCAMEY, Texas (AP) - A 34-year-old former West Texas teacher faces felony charges alleging she had an improper relationship with an 18-year-old high school student, authorities said.
Vanessa Zuniga remained in the Upton County Jail after turning herself in Monday. No bond has been set, and it was unclear whether she had an attorney. If convicted, she could face up to 20 years in prison.
Zuniga resigned before turning herself in, school district
Superintendent Donny Wiley told the Odessa American.
McCamey is about 50 miles south of Odessa.
