Hurricane Ike Will Enter The Gulf By Tuesday Afternoon......

 

A ridge of high pressure will stay in control of our weather pattern into early next week with no rain in the forecast through at least Monday.  Temperatures will be rather cool again tonight with readings a little warmer at night by early next week. Moisture levels will slowly increase this week.

Ike is moving over the Southeastern Bahamas this morning as a catagory 3 hurricane with 135 mph sustained winds.  Motion is just south of due west at 15 mph.  Located at 21.1 N and 72.2 W. and will likely be a threat to the Eastern Gulf by Tuesday.

Tonight....Fair.  Lows in the lower to mid 60's.  Winds light northeasterly less than 5 mph.  No rain expected.

Monday......A 20% coverage of Showers. Highs near 90. SE 3-12 mph
