PORT ARTHUR - A collision between a Greyhound bus and a Ford F-150 pickup truck in Port Arthur has injured six people, one critically.
According to Port Arthur Police, the vehicles collided at about 3:45 p.m. Monday at 39th Street and Memorial Boulevard.
A Beaumont man in the pickup suffered life-threatening injuries. He was taken by Acadian Ambulance to Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth. The other man in the pickup received non-life threateening injuries.
Four passengers on the bus were also taken to a hospital. They're injuries weren't life-threatening.
There were 49 passengers and a driver on the Greyhound bus. The driver and remaining passengers were transported to the Greyhound Bus Station in Port Arthur by Port Arthur city buses and two vans from a local church.
The bus was destined for Houston after its stop in Port Arthur.
