SOUTHEAST TEXAS - Rain is moving out of Southeast Texas and cold temperatures are moving in.

A large band of showers moved across Southeast Texas early New Year's Day. Some of the rain lingered into the late morning hours but much of it had moved into Louisiana. Some areas received 1-3 inches.
New Year's Day temperatures aren't expected to rise above 60.
Temperatures will likely remain in the 40's for the rest of the week with morning temperatures in the upper 30's to low 40's.
