JEFFERSON COUNTY - The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is asking for your help in finding a fugitive who is accused of trying to rob several people outside a Beaumont restaurant and was shot when one of the victims struggled with him and tried to take away the weapon.
Kenneth Ray Taylor, 23, is wanted for three counts of aggravated robbery.
Deputies say during the robbery last year outside a restaurant on Calder in Beaumont, Taylor began fighting and was shot when one of the people he targeted grabbed his gun during a struggle.
Taylor is 6'2" and weighs about 220 pounds. Investigators warn people not to approach Taylor because they say he might carry a weapon.

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office Warrant Division is requesting the public's assistance in locating a dangerous fugitive, Kenneth Ray Taylor.

Age: 23 years of age
Last Known address: Fairview Street, Beaumont
He is wanted for 3 counts of Aggravated Robbery. During the last robbery, the fugitive became engaged in a fight over the firearm during which he was shot.
Kenneth Ray Taylor should be considered "Armed and Dangerous". No attempt should be made to detain him. Anyone knowing his location is requested to dial 911 or Crime Stoppers at 833-TIPS (8477). Crime Stoppers will pay up to
$1,000 for information leading to this fugitive's arrest.
