BEAUMONT, TEXAS (September 3, 2008)-The CHRISTUS Pro/Celebrity Classic, presented by Motiva Enterprises, and scheduled for Saturday, September 13^th at 7:00 PM at Ford Arena in Beaumont, will be rescheduled as a result of the impact of Hurricane Gustav. A new date will be announced in the coming days.

Ford Park has been transformed into a staging ground for all regional emergency responders due to Hurricane Gustav.  Tim Stallard, event producer and president of ProLink Sports+Entertainment+Media, says, "In light of the mandatory evacuation of area residents in Southeast Texas and Louisiana due to Hurricane Gustav, we believe it is in the best interest of the fans, sponsors and participants to reschedule."  He noted, "Ford Park management continues to work with local officials, emergency response agencies and military personnel to assist with the ongoing relief efforts."

All tickets sold for the September 13^th tennis event at Ford Arena will be honored at the rescheduled date.  Anyone wishing to receive a ticket refund may do so at point of purchase.
