Cyclist dies in crash with Houston METRO train

HOUSTON (AP) -- Investigators say a bicyclist has died in a collision with a METRORail train in downtown Houston and the driver of the transit has been hurt.

Police say the accident happened Monday morning and the woman on the bicycle was dead at the scene. Authorities didn't immediately release her name.

Authorities say the train driver suffered an undisclosed injury and asked to be transported to a hospital for observation. Further details weren't immediately released.

Officials are trying to determine what led to the accident on Main Street.
