Port Arthur dispatcher praised on Facebook

KFDM News - The story about how a Port Arthur dispatcher talked a child through a potentially dangerous situation has drawn nearly 15 thousand views on KFDM'S Facebook page.

There are dozens of comments.  Most of them are similar to this one: "Thanks for the 9-1-1 operator. Great job! Great job for the child that called too, and listened to the 9-1-1 operator! Also very happy that the police officers caught the bad guys! Great team work!"

Another comment: "Awesome job the child did. Sounds like he stayed calm and listened. Whoever taught him what to do in an emergency must be proud of him! Kudo's to PAPD for responding so quickly."
