New developments in Knights Inn shooting investigation
A judge has issued an arrest warrant charging a man with capital murder in a shooting at a Beaumont motel.
Detectives have identified one of the suspects as 23-year old Cameron Charles Frank of Beaumont. BPD has two warrants for Frank, one for capital murder and the other for aggravated robbery.
Detectives are still working to identify a second man involved in the shooting death of a women who was a guest at the Knights Inn during the early morning hours last Tuesday, August 20th.
Police say the shooting followed an argument the victim was from Monroe, Louisiana.

Detectives have identified one of the suspects involved in the August 20th murder of Kendra Crump. We are currently attempting to locate Cameron Charles Frank, a 23-year-old Beaumont resident.
On Friday, August 23, Detectives obtained two warrants for Frank. The first warrant is for Aggravated Robbery and has a $150,000 bond. The second warrant is for Capital Murder and has a $750.000 bond. Both warrants were signed by Judge Nancy Beaulieu.
Detectives are still working to identify a second man involved in the aggravated robbery and capital murder.
Any person who knows the whereabouts of Cameron Charles Frank is urged to call Beaumont Crime Stoppers at 833-TIPS. If your information leads to the arrest of Frank, you may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
