More of what we experienced on Sunday is making a repeat performance today. Plenty of sunshine mixed in with a few high level clouds. Dry weather will stick around for most of the week with another upper level system returning for the later half of next weekend.
Grand jury indicts two men in robbery, kidnapping of woman
JEFFERSON COUNTY - The Jefferson County grand jury has indicted two men in the robbery and kidnapping of a woman.
The grand jury indicted Bronson Williams, 25, of Port Arthur, for Aggravated Robbery and Aggravated Kidnapping, and Domminique Adams, 18, of Port Arthur, for Aggravated Robbery.
Investigators say the men robbed a woman at gunpoint in the early morning hours of July 2. The woman told police she and her boyfriend were approached at her home by two men who'd been hiding at the side of the residence.
The woman says the men held them at gunpoint and she told investigators one of the suspects forced her to drive to an ATM at a convenience store in an effort to get money. She was able to alert the clerk and get away from the attacker.
The charges against both men are 1st Degree Felonies. If convicted, they could face up to life in prison and up to $10,000 fines.
