CASA playhouse raffle to raise funds for abused and neglected children

BEAUMONT - A local attorney is a man of more than one skill.
He's using his construction skills to help make life better for children in Southeast Texas, and he's doing it through CASA.

Attorney, Kent Walston built this playhouse for a CASA raffle that will benefit local children.

Walston's wife, Davilyn, helped put he finishing touches on  house this afternoon.

CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates.

Several other community members are also building playhouses for the raffle in October.

Walston says the project is fun, but more importantly it benefits abused and neglected children.

You can buy a raffle tickets by calling CASA at 832-2272. The drawing will take place October 5th at Parkdale mall.
