Parents may have to make decision about baby Faith Mason who police say was abused

KFDM News - Child Protective Services tells KFDM News that the parents of a baby that police say had been abused may have a difficult decision to make.

Doctors at Texas Childrens Hospital have been treating Faith Mason of Port Arthur since last month for injuries they call the worst they've ever seen on a child.

The little girl has more than a dozen broken bones and is still on a ventilator.

Police haven't filed charges.  The District's Attorney is working on the case with Port Arthur detectives.

Child Protective Services says the child's mother and father still have parental rights and if the baby doesn't show signs of improving, the parents may have to make a decision about how to proceed forward.
