Southeast Texas man sentenced to 40 years in prison for a double murder
KFDM News - A Southeast Texas man was sentenced Monday to 40 years in prison for a double murder in 2012.
Keith Wayne Johnson, 21, is serving two 40-year sentences, concurrently.
He could be eligible for parole in 20 years. Johnson plead guilty to the murder charges. He was found guilty of murdering Amanda Rierson, of Port Arthur, and Beau Barron, of Vidor in February of 2012.
The victims were found in a car parked in the driveway of a home on Campbell Street in Beaumont.
Johnson, of Buna, was charged with capital murder shortly after the shootings.
