Dr. Chargois looking into plagiarism allegations

Wednesday night night KFDM News reported Doctor Timothy Chargois was looking into allegations of plagiarism in the super news newsletter that is sent to employees of the school district.

He told KFDM News that he did not write the letters but was looking in to the claims.

And the Georgia Department of Veterans, which is one of the organizations quotes were allegedly pulled from, gave a comment to KFDM News, saying, "Upon comparing the BISD newsletter's message to the 2013 Veterans Day message published by our agency under commissioner Pete Wheeler's byline it is apparent the BISD message is a nearly verbatim copy.

While Commissioner Wheeler's words touch upon universal themes related to the service and sacrifice of our nation's veterans his 2013 Veterans Day message is an original composition.
