Port Arthur man sentenced to 50 years for probation violations
A judge has sentenced a Port Arthur man to fifty years in prison for a crime that received national attention.
A 12 year old child alone in a home called 9-1-1 to report a break-in and a dispatcher in Port Arthur helped Deion Murdock as two men entered the home.
Murdock hid in a bedroom waiting for police those two men 30 year old LaJohn Wilson and 22 year old Jarrod Johnson were charged with aggravated robbery and burglary of a habitation.
Wilson was sentenced to the fifty years today for aggravated robbery he still faces trial on the other charge.
Johnson is still awaiting trial on both charges.
