Groves Elementary students work in Kids' Lab

How about spending your Monday observing and comparing properties of matter like viscosity and creating and bottling your own hair gel?

Those were a few of the experiments kids were working on at Monday's Kids' Lab at Groves Elementary.

BASF Total Petrochemicals is providing the lab to encourage chemistry for third through fifth grades across Mid County.
Students actively participating in fun hands-on chemistry experiments and activities in the hopes of giving them an appreciation for science.

The Kids' Lab will be at Groves tomorrow before moving on to Taft Elementary School in Port Arthur Thursday. Then Friday they close out Kids' Lab with a visit to Van Buren Elementary in Groves.
