Police catches man accused of threatening Dollar General Store worker with a gun

KFDM News - A man accused of threatening a Dollar General Store worker with a gun last November has now been arrested.

The Pinehurst Police Department arrested 59-year-old Mark Nathan Mclelland in the 3900 block of Cochran Street in Orange on Thursday.

Mclelland is accused of pulling out a black, semi-automatic pistol  on a worker at the Dollar General Store at the 2500 hundred block of MLK Drive back in November.

Employees said the robber threatened the worker and removed cash before running away.

Mclelland's bond is set at $15,000. If convicted he could face up to 99 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
