UPDATE: Four children taken to hopsital after SUV runs red light

BEAUMONT- by KFDM News

Beaumont Police tell KFDM News the two children ejected from the car were a 3-year-old girl and a 4-year-old boy. Both children are still at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth but are listed in stable condition.

All others involved in accident have been released from the hospital according to police.

Four children were taken to Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth after an SUV and truck collided at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy. and Franklin St. in Beaumont. Police said two children were ejected from the SUV.

Police said the SUV was going eastbound and ran a red light. The SUV and a work truck collided. The driver of the truck was taken to Baptist Hospital.

Police said all the children were under 5 years old, and at least one infant was in the car.
