Two children ejected from SUV in stable condition

BEAUMONT-By: Leslie Rangel

A four-year-old boy and a three-year-old girl are listed in stable condition at Christus Hospital Saint Elizabeth after they were ejected from an SUV following a collision.

Beaumont police say witnesses reported their mother a 28-year-old woman from Houston ran a red light.

Two other children, both one were also in the SUV, they were properly strapped in.

Police say the four-year-old was not in a car seat, the three-year-old was but was not buckled in correctly.

Witnesses to the crash described what they saw and heard.
