Deaths of father, daughter, ruled murder-suicide

Beaumont police say a final autopsy report indicates that the deaths of a father and daughter at a city pool are a case of  murder suicide and the report shows that the man had PCP in his system.

31 year old Traveth Quinn and his 3 year old daughter Legend died after a worker at Alice Keith Park found them in the pool October 10th.

The worker was checking the grounds when he saw a man floating face down in the wading pool. The worker walked closer and saw a child's arm beneath the man.

An autopsy shows the cause of death is drowning.

Beaumont police Sergeant Rob Flores tells KFDM the deaths have been ruled a murder suicide. A toxicology report released by a pathologist shows the father had PCP in his system.
