Coast Guard searching for men on overdue sailboat off of Texas coast

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas Coast Guard crews are searching Monday for two men aboard an overdue 25-foot sailboat, with creme colored hull and white sails, sailing from Port Aransas to Galveston.
Missing is Patrick Holden, 27; and Joe Squibb, 26.
At approximately 2 a.m. Monday, the wife of Patrick Holden called Coast Guard Sector Corpus Christi when she did not hear from him after their expected arrival time in Galveston, Sunday night. It was reported that he left Saturday evening for an overnight trip from Port Aransas to Galveston, but he and his friend didn't return as expected.
The Coast Guard is conducting a search 50 nautical miles offshore from Port Aransas to Galveston utilizing helicopters and airplanes from Air Stations Corpus Christi, Houston, Mobile, Ala. and Clearwater, Fla.
The Coast Guard requests anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of the sailboat or crew to contact the Coast Guard 8th District command center at (504) 589-6225.
