Jefferson County student charged with creating a hit list

KFDM News - The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office has charged a 15-year-old girl with creating a hit list at Hamshire-Fannett High School.

Someone reported the list Wednesday morning that the list was in a locker at the school.

The list contained the names of 12 students, and the author threatened to hurt the students.

Deputies began interviewing youngsters on the list and narrowed their focus to one suspect.

They took the 15-year-old girl into custody and drove her to the Minnie Rogers Juvenile Justice Center.

The teen is charged with making a terrorist threat. That's a third degree felony
