A driver in a hit and run continued driving and caused a second accident Thursday morning, according to police.

Police say the driver of a silver Toyota Corolla hit a vehicle at West Lucas and Eastex Freeway then continued driving eastbound on East Lucas and struck a second vehicle at Concord and Lucas.

After hitting the second vehicle the driver continued driving, popped a curb, hit a sign, and came to a stop in front of Triangle Pawn Shop, according to police.

Police say there were no injuries, but the driver of the Corolla was taken to Saint Elizabeth Hospital to be examined.
