PAISD superintendent has plan to improve low-performing schools
PORT ARTHUR - The Port Arthur School superintendent says he has a plan to improve schools.
And, that plan includes the entire community, including parents.
The state released a report about a week ago that found six Port Arthur schools do not meet state standards. The report is based on test scores and other factors.
Today, the district held a staff development meeting day. The superintendent talked about what it will take to make improvements.
Four Beaumont schools were also on the list. To look at the entire list, go to KFDM.com.
