A little warmer conditions can be expected this weekend with highs warming into the upper 60's. A few showers will be possible Sunday with a better coverage of rain expected Monday. The next cold front will move through early Wednesday with moderate cooling by the end of the week.
Man leads Jefferson County deputies on chase
KFDM News - A 26-year-old man from Woodville was clocked at more than 100 miles an hour when he led Jefferson County deputies on a chase.
Deputies say along the way, he ran drivers off the road. The chase started on Interstate-10 near the Highway 365 overpass Wednesday morning.
Jefferson County deputies say they used a radar gun to clock the driver's speed. They were able to catch him at Brooks Road. Investigators say the car that he was driving had been reported stolen out of Tyler County.
Investigators say the driver appeared to be under the influence. They say he passed out in a patrol car after they took him into custody.
The suspect was brought to Baptist Hospital for evaluation.
He's facing charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and felony evading.
