Just a few showers and thunderstorms will be possible over the next few days due mainly to daytime heating.  A much better coverage of rain can be expected Thursday into Friday as a cold front moves in from the northwest.  This front will bring us cooler and drier air over the weekend.

Police investigate stabbing outside convenience store

PORT ARTHUR - By Justin Hinton, KFDM News

The Port Arthur Police Department is investigating a stabbing outside of a convenience store at the corner of Ninth Avenue and Jimmy Johnson Blvd.

Investigators on the scene tell KFDM News a man was leaving the store around 7:30 p.m. when a confrontation took place.

It is unclear how the attack started.

The man fought back and was able to get away. Investigators say the men who approached him went to the Medical Center of Southeast Texas after one of them was stabbed.
