TXDOT: Multimillion dollar ramp project begins
SOUTHEAST TEXAS-By: KFDM News
Construction on a 27 million dollar project from the I-10 And U.S. 69 interchange to state highway 105 begins tonight.
The construction will reverse entrance and exit ramps along the three mile stretch.
It will widen the Delaware, Lucas and Dowlen overpasses.
Any lane closures will be from 9 pm to 5 am.
During construction, the speed limit will be lowered to 55 miles per hour.
TXDOT says they expect the project to last two years, but says it should help with traffic.
