Synopsis.......

 

A good coverage of rain can be expected tonight into Friday as a rather strong upper level disturbance moves in from the west.  Some of the rains Friday will be locally heavy with the potential for 1-2 inches of rain in some spots.  Drier and cooler air will take over Friday night into Sunday.

TXDOT: Multimillion dollar ramp project begins

SOUTHEAST TEXAS-By: KFDM News

Construction on a 27 million dollar project from the I-10 And U.S. 69 interchange to state highway 105 begins tonight.

The construction will reverse entrance and exit ramps along the three mile stretch. 

It will widen the Delaware, Lucas and Dowlen overpasses.

Any lane closures will be from 9 pm to 5 am.

During construction, the speed limit will be lowered to 55 miles per hour.

TXDOT says they expect the project to last two years, but says it should help with traffic.
