Judge sets bond for ex-firefighter charged with stealing Lumberton fire brush truck

KFDM News - A judge has arraigned and set bond for an ex-firefighter charged with stealing a Lumberton fire brush truck.

Justin Leboeuf, 19, turned himself in Wednesday at the Hardin County Sheriff's Office.

His bond is set at $5,000. Leboeuf is charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle -- a state jail felony. He faces a sentence of up to two years in jail.

The brush truck was found Thursday with minor paint damage. The Lumberton fire chief says Leboeuf was a firefighter from February 2012 until last November when he quit.
