Sleet, freezing rain moving across Southeast Texas

SOUTHEAST TEXAS - Sleet and freezing rain are moving across Southeast Texas and there are some reports of brief light snow flurries.

Our KFDM meteorologists say it's too warm to accumulate but drivers are still urged to use caution on bridges and overpasses.


The precipitation is moving east and should be out of the area by about 11 a.m.


The high temperature Thursday should be in the upper 30's and the low Thursday night and Friday morning will be about 30. The high Friday may not reach above 40. Temperatures should reach the 60's this weekend.
