According to Deputy Rod Carroll, Joshua Kole Williams, 24, is charged with Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child. He's white, about 5'10" and weighs 150 pounds.
Carroll says Williams is wanted for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child. Investigators say during the assault of the 3-year-old daughter of a family friend, Williams transmitted two sexually transmitted diseases to the child.
Deputies believe Williams is hiding with friends in the Beaumont or Mid-County area. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office doesn't believe the friends realize Williams is wanted nor the circumstances of the crime that he is charged.
Deputy Carroll says no one should attempt to detain Williams. He has a prior firearms charge and should be considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone with information on the location of Williams should contact Crime Stoppers at 833-TIPS (8477). Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for the location of this wanted fugitive or any other wanted fugitive.
