$1 million bond set for man being held on murder charge

KFDM News - A man police say caused a crash that killed a Vidor teen was transported to the Orange County Jail at about 10:40 a.m. Friday morning where he is being held on bond.

Kelvin Roy is being held on the charge of murder and was arranged by Judge David Peck at 3 p.m. Roy's bond was set at $1 million.

Roy is accused of deliberately crashing his car into a minivan Friday night.

Sixteen-year-old Alexandria Bertrand was riding in the back the minivan. She died in the hospital.
