DPS: Man driving drunk falls out of moving truck

BEAUMONT - A Beaumont man has been charged with his third DWI after he fell out of the truck  he was driving when he turned a corner. 

Department of Public Safety trooper Stephanie Davis tells KFDM that 32-year-old Charles Caraway was west bound on Old Sour Lake Road at about 11 a.m. Saturday when he attempted to turn onto Moore Road at an unsafe speed.

Davis says Caraway was not wearing a seatbelt and fell out of the truck onto the roadway.

The truck continued on until it hit a tree.

Caraway was transported to a local hospital with injuries and
Davis says authorities charged him with DWI.
