PORT ARTHUR - Port Arthur police are searching for a man accused of putting a gun to a woman's head and trying to kidnap her.

Investigators confirm to KFDM News a man reported that an attacker wearing a mask pointed a gun at his wife's head and tried to kidnap her at about 8 a.m. Wednesday in the 2900 block of 19th Street.

The woman said she was returning from school when a man came around from the side of the house and held a gun to her head. When she began screaming her husband came running to the front door and the attacker ran away.
