Police arrests suspect in AT&T robbery in Beaumont

BEAUMONT - Police have arrested two suspects, including an employee, accused of robbing the new AT&T Store in Beaumont.

On Tuesday night, officers arrested 21-year- old Jamail Wallace of Beaumont as well as 33-year-old Latashi Henry of Groves.

Police say Henry worked at the store.  Both will face aggravated robbery charges.

A gunman approached a clerk as she was walking into the store to open it at about 8:30 a.m. on February 17th.

He pointed a gun at her head and forced the woman to a back room where other employees had locked themselves inside.

He threatened to shoot the clerk if they didn't open the door. The gunman took a deposit off the table when he entered the room and made the manager open the safe and give him money.
