Woman released on bond after arrest for hindering apprehension of triple homicide suspect

A 24-year-old Port Arthur woman was released on $100,000 bond after being arrested Wednesday for hindering the apprehension of Joe Hawkins, a news release stated.

Hawkins, the suspect in a triple homicide and aggravated assault, was taken into custody Sunday, according to police.

Jornae Tranise Johnson was arrested on a warrant for  hindering apprehension in the 200 block of College and was transported to the Jefferson County Jail.
