Round 2 of isolated showers and thunderstorms dotting the area for lunchtime. These storms should be shortlived. Highs will again reach the lower 90's in most areas. Less coverage of showers as the week progresses. Look for some of the hottest temps to date as we approach the weekend. Mid and upper 90's could be the norm by the weekend.

How one man won $10,000 for catching one local fish

KFDM News -  The largest amateur fishing tournament in the world is underway at Lake Sam Rayburn with more than $1 million up for grabs.

One bass that came in at five pounds even, earned a Caplin, Louisiana, man $10,000.

More than 5,000 anglers took to the lake with hopes of taking home some of the more than $ million in cash and prizes.

Twenty-eight states were represented as well as five countries.

The Big Bass Splash Tournament runs through Sunday and is open to the public free of charge including entertainment that features Josh Turner tonight (Friday) and Chris Young on Sunday.
