Difference of opinion about role of new conservator

There appears to be a difference of opinion about the role of the new conservator who his working with the Beaumont school district.

But last night the superintendent said Shafer would not interfere and Shafer told us he wasn't sure he had the final say in matters.

Shafer will remain in place at least until a new superintendent and board of managers are in place.
