Arrest warrants issued for three suspects in $120,000 statue theft

PORT ARTHUR - KFDM News has learned the Port Arthur Police Department investigation into the theft of a $120,000 statue from in front of the Port Arthur Public Library has led to arrest warrants for three suspects accused of taking the art work in February, cutting it into a number of pieces and selling it for scrap.


KFDM was at the police station when officers arrested Josh Manaway, Sr., 52, of Port Arthur. He spoke with us about the arrest. Watch KFDM News for Haley Bull's report, including an interview with the suspect.


Police say they're searching for Josh Manaway, Jr., 28, of Port Arthur. Terry Rogers, 42, of Port Arthur, is in jail on an unrelated charge. Each is now charged with 2nd Degree Felony Theft. Judge Marc Derouen has set bond at $50,000 for each suspect.
