JASPER COUNTY- by Grant Foster

A wreck occurred early Tuesday morning shortly after 6:00 AM, sending to two people to the hospital.

According to trooper Beau Clark of the Texas Department of Public Safety, Holly Erimias, of Jasper, was traveling North on Farm Market Road 777, in a Nissan Murano when Jimmy Billiot traveling South bound lost control of the 2009 Jeep Liberty she was driving when she left the shoulder of the road and hit loose gravel.

The Jasper Fire Department had to free Holly from her vehicle using the jaws of life. Erimias and Billiot were taken to Christus Jasper Memorial Hospital with injuries.
