Just a few showers and thunderstorms will be possible over the next few days due mainly to daytime heating.  A much better coverage of rain can be expected Thursday into Friday as a cold front moves in from the northwest.  This front will bring us cooler and drier air over the weekend.

Southeast Texans bringing relief to tornado victims

Southeast Texans are in Arkansas bringing relief to victims of a tornado that has killed at least 16 people.

The tornado carved an 80 mile path of destruction through suburbs north of Little Rock. In addition to the deaths a number of people were hurt.

The tornado destroyed or damaged homes across the region.

At least one member of the Beaumont fire department is in Arkansas helping tornado victims.

He is a member of Task Force One a team of 77 people from Texas who assist in disasters in Texas or wherever they're called upon to help.
