DA's office accepts three capital murder charges in connection with triple homicide
The District Attorney's office accepted three charges of capital murder Wednesday in connection with a triple homicide that occurred March 16th.
Joe Hawkins, 26, is accused of murdering Anthony Hawkins, 33, Darrell Hawkins, 34, and Reshowna Hawkins, 30. Relatives said the suspect is the brother of the three victims. He's also accused of shooting and wounding a 21-year old woman relatives said was his girlfriend.
Police said Hawkins was booked into jail on a warrant for the aggravated assault of the 21-year old woman and has a bond set at $1 million.
The victims were shot March 16th outside their family's home on S. 4th St. in Beaumont. When officers got to the scene for a family disturbance call, they found the victims in the yard. Each had several gunshot
