Just a few showers and thunderstorms will be possible over the next few days due mainly to daytime heating.  A much better coverage of rain can be expected Thursday into Friday as a cold front moves in from the northwest.  This front will bring us cooler and drier air over the weekend.

Man accused of aggravated robbery arrested Thursday

A man accused of leaping inside of a man's car and stabbing him was arrested Thursday, Jefferson County Sheriff's Deputy Rod Carroll said.

Davin Lee Barry, 27, was arrested in Opelousas, La. around 2 p.m. after authorities received a call on the Crime Stoppers line, Carroll said.

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office Fugitive Warrant Division had previously asked for the public's help in finding Barry, who was wanted in connection with Aggravated Robbery.
