A dry weather pattern will continue for the next few days with below normal temperatures. In fact, scattered frost can be expected Sunday morning over the Lakes Area. Update: Fire consumes Kirbyville auto parts store
UPDATE: KFDM News has learned that the fire was put out around 11 a.m. and the building was a total loss. Additionally, KFDM News was informed that the State Fire Marshal will likely investigate the cause of the fire.
KIRBYVILLE - Firefighters are battling flames that are consuming a Kirbyville auto parts store.

The fire was reported at about 7:30 a.m. Monday at Kirbyville Auto Parts and Supply on West Levert Street in Kirbyville, according to information provided to KFDM News by Kirbyville Police Chief Paul Brister.
No one has been hurt. The Kirbyville and Trout Creek Volunteer Fire Departments are working the fire.
Brister says there were explosions inside the store, most likely, he says, from batteries or other auto parts.
There are no evacuations.
