A dry weather pattern will continue for the next few days with below normal temperatures. In fact, scattered frost can be expected Sunday morning over the Lakes Area. A warming trend will begin early next week with a good coverage of showers and thunderstorms by the middle and later part of next week.
PAPD: Roads to be closed for accident reconstruction
KFDM News has learned Port Arthur Police Department's accident reconstruction team are scheduled Wednesday morning to reconstruct a traffic accident that occurred on May 15th.
The reconstruction will take place in th e 3100 and the 3200 blocks of Gulfway Drive. Gulfway Drive, along with the 1600 and 1700 block s of 4th Avenue, will be closed to through traffic starting at about 9 a.m., according to a news release.
The roadways will be closed for at least four hours and motorists using Gulfway Drive are encouraged to use an alternate route. Businesses in the area will be accessible, but the PAPD is asking the public to use caution in the area.
